It is an exciting time of change at Dayan & Webb. Both Amy and Faye are on maternity leave and looking forward to tiny additions to their families. Dayan & Webb will continue to send out fuelling, purposeful and delicious meals across corporate London under the General managership of Pippa and kitchen leadership of Lizzie.
Faye “After over two years of building up the business from scratch its certainly not easy to let go for a few months, but I feel so lucky that we have such a strong and incredible team in place to continue our services whilst we are gone, under the fantastic management of Pippa. We have seen DW grow from serving a handful of corporate clients to delivering breakfast, lunches and canapés to so many offices all across the city. There is no better pleasure than receiving positive feedback from a client or team who has enjoyed DW’s food, and 2018 is a year when we hope to send out great quality food to so many more of you. Great ingredients and suppliers remain at the very heart of our value system, as well as providing fuelling meals, beautifully presented and allergen adaptable that make ordering for teams or clients a joy. We will be back before you know it (with babies in tow) and look forward to a great year for DW”
Amy “The Dayan & Webb business makes me so proud every day, especially now that it’s not just Faye & I’s baby but is the passion of every person in our team. We started out two years ago as a team of two with big dreams, high ambitions and a strong set of business principles. Today we have a work family of truly amazing and talented people who are dedicated to upholding the same principles we originally set out for ourselves: sourcing excellent ingredients, producing the best food and delivering exceptional customer service to all our partners.
I could not ask for more than this as I step away from the business for the next few months. I am eager to see how the team’s plans for the next few months develop and know that I will be so excited to return to work and be part of the fun again soon.”
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce Pippa, our general manager who has been with us for almost 6 months and will be leading the company whilst we are on maternity leave. Hailing from the other side of the world in Australia, Pippa has been in London for close to 7 years, and worked with some fantastic companies including Jamie Oliver, Escape the City and The food initiative.
What do you love most about working with food? Food has always been a passion of mine. From a young age running about my parents cafe, it played an important role in my life. Getting to share this passion with clients and colleagues is the thing I love most; be it planning a small office lunch or a large scale corporate event.
Are you a Londoner now? Yes! London was a big change from the sunny coastline I grew up on, but 7 years in I feel very much at home. This city never fails to offer amazing food experiences and is the launching pad for many exciting food brands. I am very happy to be here and playing a part in that.
What is your favourite DW dish? My favourite dish this season has got to be the Lamb with Harissa Yogurt and Couscous Salad. Being an Australian lamb will always rank high on my list and coupled with black olives and green harissa this is heaven on a plate.
What are you most excited about working on in 2018? Growing our events offering in 2018 is something I am very excited about. DW have catered some amazing events in the last year, some of which I have had the opportunity to manage. I am really excited to develop this and make it easier to for clients to plan and order, sophisticated and delicious choices for their corporate events.
