Using your information in a way that you are comfortable with and keeping your information secure is an integral part of the Dayan & Webb service and experience. What Information Do We Collect And How Do We Use It?

We collect and use information about you to ensure that we can continue to provide you with a luxury catering experience. You provide us with your information directly when you make a purchase, sign up to our newsletter, shop online, or register to take part in a competition.  

Should you choose to take advantage of our catering service or our bespoke catering service you will be contacted by one of our corporate catering associates. They will collect information relevant to you, your catering requirements and your company in order to provide you with the correct service or as requested curate an exclusive personalised catering package for you. Your catering associate will contact you regularly to see how we can best meet your catering needs and provide you with relevant up to date information on Dayan & Webb. Your catering associate will also regularly keep you updated on the information that we hold about you and your company, how it affects you and will follow your instructions on how you would like to be contacted by them.

If you choose to sign up to our mailing list we will securely hold your email address. All marketing and mailing list emails are sent via Mailchimp and are covered by their security system and GDPR and Privacy policies. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

Information Collected When You Make A Purchase

When you make a purchase, we will collect necessary information about you to ensure we can fulfil your order or chosen service.

When you place an order with Dayan & Webb for products or services that will be delivered, we will need to take contact details and delivery information from you so that we may complete your order. We may use third party couriers to deliver your order and will need to share your contact information with them for this purpose.

When you purchase from Dayan & Webb we do not hold any payment details. You can either pay us via bank transfer or via pur payment partners Stripe & Paypal. If you use either Stripe or Paypal as your method of payment these partners will request information from you including your bank details. You will be covered by the relevant security and privacy policies of Stripe, Paypal or your bank when using these methods of payment. Dayan & Webb do not hold any customer payment details.  

Information collected by Dayan & Webb as a result of a purchase will be held on your account for 7 years. However, if you do not make a purchase from us within a two year period we will achieve your account. Information collected by our payment partners may be dealt with in an alternative manor.

Managing Your Marketing Preferences

At any point that you interact with us, you may be given the opportunity to opt-in to receive Dayan & Webb marketing communications. We will only send you marketing communications where you have consented to receive them and using your preferred channels of communication. You can amend your preferences or opt-out of receiving marketing communications at any time.

Dayan & Webb Personal & Bespoke Catering Service And Placing An Order Via Email or Phone

In order to deliver the best possible customer experience, in addition to purchasing via our online shop you can contact one of our catering associates via phone or email to help put your order together or plan a bespoke event. Working with one of our catering associates may involve you sharing additional personal information about yourself and your company with Dayan & Webb so that we can tailor our service to provide you with recommendations of products and services that may be relevant to your event and preferences.

We understand that as part of this, you may share with us sensitive information. Dayan & Webb will always ensure that we have your consent to use this sensitive information and any other information as part of this service.

The level and content of the information that you provide to Dayan & Webb and the communications that you receive as part of this service is always set and agreed to by you. You can discuss these arrangements and change them at any time by speaking to the Catering Associate team directly. To ensure that you are still happy with the service provided, if we have not discussed your existing arrangements with you for 2 years, we will contact you to check that you are still happy with these arrangements. If we are unable to contact you for any reason, your existing personal details will be retained but your account will be set as “archived” until we can confirm that you are happy to continue using the service (please note that we will delete any sensitive information about you while the account is dormant). After a further 2 years we will delete your information, however if you have made a purchase from us we will retain your contact details for 7 years.

Shopping Online

When you visit we will use google analytics to monitor the way you interact with the site, so that we can better improve our online service.

We do not use any other forms of tracking and will only request information about you as part of the ordering and payment process. The information that is requested is as follows:

  • Order, deliver and contact information goes to Dayan & Webb only. We will share your delivery information with our 3rd party delivery partners.
  • Payment details are taken by our payment partner Stripe. Dayan & Webb do not hold any of this information.
  • Subscription to our mailing list – If you opt-in to our mailing list your email details will be held by Dayan & Webb and Mailchimp.

What Information Do We Collect And How Do We Use It?

When you participate in a competition, prize draw or offer, or sign up to attend one of our events, we will collect information about you. This information will be used to administer competitions and manage events, including securing your registration at an event, and selecting and contacting prize winners. If you provide the personal information of another customer for one of our events, we will assume you have the consent of any named individuals to provide their personal information for these purposes.

How Can You Manage The Information We Hold About You?

As part of our commitment to exceptional customer service, where you have provided your consent, we personalise your experience, by only sending marketing communications about the most exclusive products, services and events that we believe you will be interested in.

You can unsubscribe from individual email marketing communications via the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each of our email marketing communications. You have always been able to opt-out of these communications via a link at the bottom of all communications and this will still be the case, however you can also do this by contacting us directly by email at or by phone at 020 3291 2083

It can take up to four weeks for your preferences to be registered on our system, so you may still receive communications from us during this period. Also where we have had to share information in order to complete an order e.g. with 3rd parties for delivery, we will contact them to also remove their data, however we will not be able to guarantee that this has been done.

Should you wish to know more about what information we hold about you including making changes to, or requesting the deletion of, information that we hold about you, you are also entitled by law to make a Data Subject Request. You can make such a request by emailing us at (quoting “Data Subject Request”). Please note that we may need to exclude certain information as part of your request, e.g. in order to protect the privacy of other individuals or if we are permitted to exclude the information for legal or other reasons.

How Do We Keep Your Information Secure?

We make sure that we have information security measures in place to keep your information secure. We will only share information with 3rd parties if it is vital to the completion of your order.

We will not share your information with any third parties who might wish to market their goods and services to you unless you have provided your consent. Dayan & Webb does not routinely share information outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). If it is necessary we will only do so with the relevant protection in line with data protection legislation requirements.

How Long Will Dayan & Webb Keep My Information?

Dayan & Webb is committed to keeping your personal information only for so long as is necessary or where we have a legitimate interest to continue doing so. Where Dayan & Webb no longer requires information to be in a format where you can be identified personally, e.g. where we keep information for analytical and research purposes or transaction information, we will remove any personal details about you.

If you have a Dayan & Webb account, are a supplier or have made a purchase with us then we will continue to retain your personal information in order to maintain your account. If there has been no activity on your account for 2 years then we archive it and if it remains inactive for 7 years we will delete it. If you wish to use your account after this time, you will need to sign up to a new account.

If you you have signed up to receive Dayan & Webb marketing communications, then we will only retain your information for as long as we have your consent to send you marketing (See Marketing and Promotions above).

Supplier information

We are as committed to ensuring the privacy and security of our suppliers information as we are of our customers.

We will securely hold your contact details and payment details during the time you are an active supplier and for 7 years after the last date of any purchases. After 7 years of inactivity we will delete your account.

Dayan & Webb only work with suppliers we are proud of and as a result we will often promote our suppliers as part of our marketing program and customer communication: on our website, in social media, in marketing emails, PR communications and to our customers directly. Although we use advanced security measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and alteration, as is the case with all computer networks linked to the internet, we cannot make absolute guarantees over the security of the information you provide over the internet and as such we cannot be held responsible for it.

We will never contact you by email to ask you to send or confirm any of your personal details, if we need any information of this nature we will only contact you by telephone.
